Hello there Loverlies! Has anyone ever had a mentor growing up, or even a mentor now? I have never fully felt I have ever had a mentor. You know, woman (or man if you are male) that is older than you, whom you feel you can call anytime for anything? Someone who has been through life struggles that are similar or the same of what you are going through at the moment. I have always truly wanted that christian woman in my life as a friend/mentor. There are a lot of things I have questions about with life/bible/etc, and it would be nice to talk with someone who has experience.

What I am explaining is the subject of the recent book I have read called A Friend In Me by Pamela Havey Lau. It is a great book for anyone to read. She talks about how we should all have an older friend who can be our mentor to helps us through certain struggles in life. Yes, we have God who helps us, but he also want's us to come together and help each other. Life can be extremely hard without friends. Lau wonderfully explains in her book about how we should also be friends/mentors for people younger then our own age. She describes how we should go about talking and listening to them in those certain areas they are having issues with. Which is great to learn about! I hope to be able to have that christian mentor I can talk to about anything soon. Because I would love to learn from them, so I can soon help someone who is younger then me with whatever they are dealing with. A lot of times we all go through similar issues, so why not help each other out? I believe that this is a start at making the world better. Evening Loverlies! I have finished reading One More Last Chance by Cathleen Armstrong. First thing I will share with y'all is the synopsis found on Goodreads.

This book is the second book of the A Place To Call Home novels, but they are easily read without reading the other books I have noticed. This book just seems like a perfect movie for Hallmark, I am hoping there is a movie of it already. If there isn't a movie made of it, there should be. It was a very sweet story about overcoming some life struggles that can be hard. As I read more into it I got really anxious just to see what will happen, and this author did not disappoint with what happens. lol Reading this book makes me want to live in the country, even though I'm sure once I was there, I probably would go bonkers. I like being able to look around at stores whenever I can, but it does make me miss the country. The people in this town Last Chance seemed to always want to help one another. It makes me hope that I can be as kind and giving as they are. Sometimes with my anxiety it will make ya wanna just be a hermit, when really deep down ya just want a friend there. I loved Elizabeth, sarah's grandmother, she was very kind and you knew she was a God fearing woman. I would love to be a grandmother like that when I get older. :) Again this was a very sweet and great story to read. Reading this book will not be a waste of your time, so give it a chance.

Evening Loverlies! I have just finished reading One Perfect Spring written by Irene Hannon. This book is very sweet and has romance. To be honest I wouldn't say it was my favorite book to read, because the author wrote this book in about four different point of views.  Every time I read a book in this writing style I always picture it as being portrayed better in a movie, I believe it would be easier to follow.  I found the story lovely seeing how certain relationships played out. It seemed like perfect coincidences with God playing a role in their lives bringing them all together. I find it very neat when that seems to happen in real life. While reading I did find myself hoping for each relationship/scenario to turn out well. This book just shows how interesting it can be when God does intertwine certain lives together, and how it plays a role in the friends and family around them. If this book seems to peek your interest, then give it a chance! You can purchase this book on amazon here.
