Lamb Anyone?

Afternoon Loverlies! I think it has been a week now since we finally tried the new Greek restaurant here in Searcy. It is called Greek House, and they have some delicious food! I decided to get the Chicken Gyro and my hubby got the Lambda Lambda Lambda burger. You guessed it, it has Lamb on it. As I stated in an earlier blog post that I was going to try Lamb this year, well, I tried it. I was not that fond of it to be honest. It may be an "it's all in your head" type of thing, but it was very gamey tasting. It was also in hamburger form, I'm not the biggest fan of hamburgers period. So I believe I shall have to try it another way. If you are anytime in Searcy, Arkansas I suggest at least giving this restaurant a try. The chips and fries are made by them, which makes them even more delicious!

I also decided to go to Bath & Body works just the other day, to try out some of their new scents. I'm sad a lot because they don't have many scents that I like, especially my favorite that was called Secret Wonderland. I don't know why they got rid of that scent, it smelled wonderous. I wanted to grab a summery scent though, so I searched until I finally found one called Golden Magnolia. It smells kind of flowery and I love flower smells, they remind me of my Mother. My mother, when she was alive owned the Conway Florist in Conway, Arkansas. I miss her so much. I would always have to go to her shop after school, and I would just play in all the flowers. I don't think I would mind being a florist as a career, but I notice you do have to go to school for it. I haven't fully looked into it, but maybe I should try again. I wouldn't think it would be too stressful of a job, I don't know. Anyways, I purchased two lotions and a perfume because they are having a sale on right now. The Sale was buy two get one free. They have some other good deals going on at the moment. I also found this cool bag that is purple/pink/silver iridescent. It reminds me of a little purse I had for my barbies. lol I think it was made out of the same material, so yes, a trip down memory lane back to the 80s. So therefore, I had to purchase it! Ha! They had some other cool iridescent bags, but I thought it would be a waste to get one of them. The scents they had in those bags, I am not fond of. Go stop by your Bath & Body Works store and see those cool bags! :D Well, if you like that kind of stuff. lol Ta Ta For Now!

Gettin' My Word Searchin' On

Evening Loverlies!! Today was a pretty decent day. My hubby and I went around and looked at Bath and Body Works and Hastings. We also went ahead and did some grocery shopping. I always like to hurry up and get that out of the way. It can be stressful sometimes for me, with all the people and it being crowded. Makes my anxiety go up quite a bit. lol

I had to also stop by Wal-greens and grab my prescriptions. The dentist prescribed me some Percocet (pain pill) and Doxycycline (antibiotics). It sure was expensive though!! I have 60 pills of the antibiotic. Sheesh!! They were like almost $1 per pill. Ridiculous, I Say!! But I guess it's better this much money now then thousands later if I get an infection. I'd rather not be laid up in the hospital with infection in my bone/jaw. So I guess i'll stop complaining about it. lol

While at Hastings I decided to get this HUGE book of word searches. I have been addicted to these lately. They are kinda mind numbing, but yet, they work your mind out. I hope that made sense. I am lovin' it already!! Anyone else love word searches? Just curious. I wish I was good at crosswords, because I so want to do them. Whenever I attempt them I just fail miserably though. lol I need to find like baby crosswords I guess. At least till I can get better at them. ;) Anyways, I will leave you with a picture of my word search book. Ta Ta For Now!!

I winky At you!!

Afternoon Loverlies!!

Today the hubster and I got outside to get some groceries. Well I wanted to stop by Bath and Body Works to see if they had any sales on the candles. Oh my GOSH!! I came to find they have their autumn scents out!! So many too choose from, actually too much to chose from, it was a hard decision. The Candles weren't on sale sadly, but I still think they are worth the price. These candles everytime you burn them, always keep the same smell. Well they just keep a smell. So many candles from other stores the smell doesn't last at long, which is very depressing. So, yes, from now on I will purchase from Bath and Body Works for their candles. Weeeeee!!! I did notice they had some sales though. I purchased one item that was on sale. *giggles* I know why not purchase more?? Well I had my eye on a few other items I couldn't bear to live without. The sale is All Anti - Bactereal Hand soap is 2.50 each. I will post under the pictures what each item is. I just wanted to share with y'all, whoever reads this, about some good sales.
