Hurry! Frozen Yogurt!

Afternoon Loverlies! There is a restaurant that opened last fall called Shelton's Craft Kitchen in Searcy, Arkansas. I am so happy we noticed this place the other day! I saw frozen yogurt and my hubby and I just had to try it. As we walked inside we were greeted by a very friendly staff. We found out they had more then frozen yogurt when they handed us a menu, so we decided to just eat dinner there also. They have some items you won't see at many restaurants around here. They have a hamburger called "Wholly Cow Grass Fed Angus" and even a "Montana Bison Burger". I do know they buy the meat for their Wholly Cow burger locally from Judsonia, Arkansas. They also have some sandwhiches, steaks, Veggie Ka Bobs, Root Veggies, etc. The way they cook the meat is it comes out on a Stone Grill (I think that is what it is called), which is really hot. It allows you to cook it as long as you want, which for me is well done. (My stomach does not do too well with pink meat lol) Then if you feel you need a dessert, get some frozen yogurt! They have a lot of options for the yogurt and toppings. They even have little cups you can grab to do a taste test to see which flavor you like the best.

One of the things that this restaurant has different from what I have seen, is Surrey Deluxe Bike Rentals. You can rent it to ride around town in. (There is a certain area you are allowed to ride to. They will explain it. Sorry I forgot the area they said.) As I was looking on their Facebook page I noticed they have art classes at different times. I am going to have to get in on that, for sure! HERE is a link to their Facebook page so y'all can keep up with what's going on at their restaurant. I just wanted to share this restaurant with y'all, because I know my hubby and I enjoy going there. Have a Blessed Day!

The menus that are from their Facebook Page. I wanted to show what all they offer. :)

Good Food at Rock House!

Mawnin' Loverlies! This is a quick share today about a restaurant in Searcy, Arkansas. There used to be a Doc's Grill in Searcy, but recently they had new owners buy them. These owners decided to turn it from a Doc's Grill into Rock House. I believe Rock House is a chain, because my friend I have from Chicago said they have one there. My husband and I were just driving around Monday night and we noticed they were packed and with a new name. So we decided to try it out. It was slow service, but only because it was a Grand Opening. I enjoyed the food and love the menu. The menu has hamburgers, tacos, shrimp, catfish, sandwiches, crab legs, salads, etc. We decided to try their hamburgers, because they were build your own. We also ordered fried pickles for an appetizer and they were delicious. I apologize for my pictures. I am lucky I was able to get some pictures of the food, because it was delicious and I was hungry. lol I suggest trying out this restaurant if you ever stop by searcy. Here is their facebook page so you can see more information about them. Have a Blessed Day!

The fried pickles. I was chowing down and forgot to snap a picture of the full basket. lol
My hamburger I built. I had fried egg, lettuce, tomato, sauteed onions, mayo, I can't remember what else. lol
I also ate the first half and then remembered, ahhhh! I need a picture.

I Ventured Out!

Afternoon Loverlies! There is now a Marco's pizza in Searcy, Arkansas. My hubby and I wanted to venture out and give it a try, and I am glad we did. at first I was a bit worried about trying their pizza because sometimes the red sauce just tears up my stomach. We found they have a pizza called white cheesy, which has a buttery garlic sauce, it was perfect! No red sauce to tear up my tummy! We asked them instead of bacon to put mushrooms and meatballs on our pizza. Somehow she mistook us and had half with bacon and the cheeses and half what we asked her. I Didn't get too upset about it, it is their first day opening. I am sure it will take a little bit to get the full hang of things. It was a good pizza though, and I am thankful for that!

Excuse my siting down whilst taking the pictures. I got really nervous lol while taking them.

There were two stores I wanted to look at and I decided to take a picture of the store named Tookies. It was a cute little store and cute name to it, we asked the owner what a Tookie was, he stated It was how he said tookie when he was little. This store sells baked goods and a few candies. I asked him when the cakes and cookies were baked and he stated that morning. I am a weirdo with questions. I really enjoyed looking around at what he bakes and we decided to get something small for dessert. My hubby got a smore - wich and I got a carrot cake, it was very good. :) If you are ever up in Searcy, Arkansas stop by and try something from tookies, I believe it's worth it. The owner also let's you taste test before you buy. Which is perfect in deciding what you want to purchase. Tookies also has a facebook page, click this LINK to view their page. Have A Blessed Day!

Moon Tiara Magic!

Afternoon Loverlies! I have been trying to get into different animes and mangas a lot lately, because my hubby loves watching and reading certain ones. I wanted to get into something that he is interested in so that when he watches these cartoons maybe I would enjoy them also and we could watch together. He does a lot for me so why not  give back eh? That is what marriage is I believe, you love that someone so much you want to do what they want to do. I am very thankful for him! He wanted pizza for his birthday yesterday, so we decided to go to Pasta Fina in Searcy, Ar. This is a newer restaurant, I believe it has been open for a few weeks now. I like it because their noodles taste fresh like they made the noodles themselves. You never want to go out to eat and have them serve you non fresh frozen food, that you can easily just cook at home. We ordered the Pasta Fina Special pizza and it was delicious. We have had their white pizza before also and it is delicious, along with their other food. They also give you this delicious bread and olive oil mixture to dip it in while you are waiting on your food. The service seems pretty decent, but the one complaint is the bathrooms. They should have fixed them better before opening, because one of the stalls were out of order and there was no soap. Luckily I had my antibacterial hand gel with me.

I took the pic after we ate most of the dip for the bread. lol there is more olive oil they give you.

The other day I found at hastings Sailor Moon COLLECTIBLES! I was so excited I just had to grab one of them. I wanted Sailor Moon or the little kitties, but I got Mars. I am alright with mars though, she is also cute! I just love these little collectibles I have been finding, they are so cute! I am ready for the Sailor Moon show to start, I am also hoping it will be where I can view it. We just have to wait and see. lol :) On another topic I have been listening to Kyary Pamyu Pamyu a lot lately. I like watching her videos because she has the cutest outfits and props. Well enough of my rambling today, I hope everything is well with y'all!

I Love Strawberry Shortcake

Afternoon Loverlies! Last Saturday my hubby and I went to see Divergent in the movies!! There were some parts from the book they took out, but overall not too bad at being close to the book. :) I loved it!! This movie is worth watching and the books are worth reading! I found the album on spotify to listen too, and i'm loving that soundtrack also!! I think this album would be good to clean and exercise to. ;)  There is an app I have on my Iphone called Poetics. It is very interesting it has these white blocked words you can type and add onto a background. I hope that makes sense. lol I took a quote a few months ago and created this picture with the app. :)

Quote from Divergent

I don't know why but my depression has been creeping up on me this weekend. Last night was awful because of it. When it gets that bad, I find it hard to find something to distract me from it. Argh! Just gotta have faith that I can overcome it. My hubby decided that we would go out and look around today because of me being depressed. I believe that helped a lot! I now have energy I was missing, even though I still feel the sadness creep around a little bit. But at least it is better then yesterday eh? :) I am thankful for that. My sissy in law called us today also and was like let's go eat somewhere, so I was happy to get that call. It was funny we were all in sync, because all three of us were craving the same thing, Rib Crib. Rib Crib I believe is only restaurant in Searcy, Arkansas that is decent, and it is delicious! They have awesome ribs/barbecue, good southern cooking. NOM NOMS! lol We always have pretty decent service there also, which is hard to get nowadays sadly. If you are ever in Searcy, Arkansas, stop by and eat at Rib Crib. Also the other day when my hubby and I were at wal-mart, we spotted these awesome plastic cups in the party section. They had old school cartoons on them, so of course, I had to have them. Yes, I know it looks childish, but I don't see anything wrong with having them. lol They also had an old school My Little Pony cup, but I didn't get that one. I will have to purchase it next time. These cups were only about $2, cheap and cute is the best way to go right? lol Thanks for Listenin'! Ta Ta For Now!

Lamb Anyone?

Afternoon Loverlies! I think it has been a week now since we finally tried the new Greek restaurant here in Searcy. It is called Greek House, and they have some delicious food! I decided to get the Chicken Gyro and my hubby got the Lambda Lambda Lambda burger. You guessed it, it has Lamb on it. As I stated in an earlier blog post that I was going to try Lamb this year, well, I tried it. I was not that fond of it to be honest. It may be an "it's all in your head" type of thing, but it was very gamey tasting. It was also in hamburger form, I'm not the biggest fan of hamburgers period. So I believe I shall have to try it another way. If you are anytime in Searcy, Arkansas I suggest at least giving this restaurant a try. The chips and fries are made by them, which makes them even more delicious!

I also decided to go to Bath & Body works just the other day, to try out some of their new scents. I'm sad a lot because they don't have many scents that I like, especially my favorite that was called Secret Wonderland. I don't know why they got rid of that scent, it smelled wonderous. I wanted to grab a summery scent though, so I searched until I finally found one called Golden Magnolia. It smells kind of flowery and I love flower smells, they remind me of my Mother. My mother, when she was alive owned the Conway Florist in Conway, Arkansas. I miss her so much. I would always have to go to her shop after school, and I would just play in all the flowers. I don't think I would mind being a florist as a career, but I notice you do have to go to school for it. I haven't fully looked into it, but maybe I should try again. I wouldn't think it would be too stressful of a job, I don't know. Anyways, I purchased two lotions and a perfume because they are having a sale on right now. The Sale was buy two get one free. They have some other good deals going on at the moment. I also found this cool bag that is purple/pink/silver iridescent. It reminds me of a little purse I had for my barbies. lol I think it was made out of the same material, so yes, a trip down memory lane back to the 80s. So therefore, I had to purchase it! Ha! They had some other cool iridescent bags, but I thought it would be a waste to get one of them. The scents they had in those bags, I am not fond of. Go stop by your Bath & Body Works store and see those cool bags! :D Well, if you like that kind of stuff. lol Ta Ta For Now!

It was hard to take a pic of the iridescence on the bag.

Wonder If Any Hobbits Are Italian?

Afternoon Loverlies! Yesterday was my wedding anniversary!! YAY!! It has been six years, that is quite an accomplishment I think. :D I am so ready to spend many more years with him. He is the sweetest man I've ever had in my life, my knight in shining armor. I know for certain he is the one that God has wanted me to spend the rest of my life with. I am very thankful for him everyday, even with the frustrations we deal with each other about. lol Hey! No marriage is perfect. ;)

Since my hubby had to work yesterday, we decided to do our anniversary on Saturday. We went to see The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug in 3D at the Imax. It was awesome! I love The Hobbit and i've actually read the book. lol I haven't finished The Lord Of the Rings books, but I have seen all the movies. I just love J.R.R. Tolkien. I need to squeeze more of his books into my reading list. One thing I will say about the movie that made me angry is, it didn't end. There will be a third movie, but I guess that's not too bad. I just remember seeing the screen go black and I was saying to myself NO! NO! NOOOOOOO! But that's movies for ya. lol

We decided to go eat at The Macaroni Grill. I love this Italian restaurant! They always play old jazz tunes and have some neat lighting in the restaurant. Even though they serve alcohol, they are kid friendly. They have big white papers on the tablecloth with crayons for the kids when they get bored. For the bread they serve they always have a little plate they put cracked pepper and olive oil on to dip your bread it. It's DELISH! For the appetizer we had Zucchini Fritti which is parmesan encrusted zucchini. For the main meal I had Carmela's Chicken and my husband had Mama's Trio. Carmela's Chicken is roasted chicken, rigatoni, carmelized onions, and marsala cream. Mama's Trio is Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna Bolognese, Chicken and Mushroom Canelloni. So delicous!! It was a fun anniversary day! We decided to go to Barnes and Noble after we ate, one of the best places ever! Gotta get them books ya know. ;) I hope y'all had a great New Years Eve! Ta Ta For Now!!

I apologize for the pictures. lol I used my phone.
