Mawnin' Loverlies! This is just a small post today! I wanted to share with y'all a gift I sent a friend of mine, but I had to wait until he received it first. I Did not want to spoil his surprise, lol. I went online and found some cute kawaii cupcakes and sushi to draw from. Sometimes when I am first drawing something, I draw better by looking at an example. I also purchased from Blippo a cute neko plushie charm. Blippo has a lot of cute kawaii items for a very decent price. It did take them almost two months to send it, but I'm assuming that is because I ordered it at the end of December and it is from a different country. I even emailed them about my item, because I was worried about it, and the customer service Representative that emailed me back was very nice and helpful. I enjoy looking at all their items on their store site, I wish I could buy it all! What is your favorite Kawaii store? Have a Blessed Day!

I recently received a book from Blogging For Books called Daily Painting: Paint Small and Often to Become a More Creative, Productive, and Successful Artist written by Carol Marine. In the beginning of this book Marine talks about she got into selling her paintings and entering them into galleries. In this book she explains the benefits of blogging and selling online, and painting often and small. Marine also explains what materials she uses, how to place your still life objects correctly before painting them, and Marine also has quite a few paintings where she shows what she did step by step. This book is a great book for an artist that is first getting started, because it has so many tips and information that will help. Mawnin' Loverlies! I am so excited to share with y'all today this art book I received from Blogging For Books called, Monstrously Funny Cartoons by Christopher Hart. I was so happy to get this book and start attempting to draw these adorable monster cartoons. The book shows you how to draw different types of zombies, vampires, mummies, and monsters. He also has written little descriptions to the side of each drawing explaining why you would add drool or make the eyes look how they look. I find it to be a very descriptive book on if you want to learn how to draw these little monsters.

I had so much fun trying to add little things that were different, and I will continue to make them a little more my own as I get better at it. I cannot wait to learn more from this book. Hopefully soon I won't need to look at his drawings, and it will be stuck in my head so I can make my own. I think this is a great book, if you are all about drawing and sketching cute little monster cartoons. Another plus is I love the bright colors that he uses in the book. It is well worth purchasing! Afternoon Loverlies! I am so excited! My hubby and I are going to go after he gets off work and look at this fitness center. I am so ready to start exercising and getting healthy. I just pray I can stick with it and that I can do it. I have been sketching random things lately, just whatever comes to my mind.  I recently purchased some sketching pencils from Walmart, and they seem to work pretty decent.  These pencils are Daler Rowney brand and they come with a dvd that teaches you how to use them. I learned the hard way that a regular pencil sharpener will not work to sharpen these pencils. I had to use my colored pencils sharpener. Thought I would share them with y'all today. This book is the 10th Anniversary Edition of Furry Logic: A Guide to Life's Little Challenges written by Jane Seabrook. It is a cute little book that has these little witty sayings on each page. Along side these sayings are some adorable drawings of animals. It is a very short book, but I enjoyed looking at all the animal drawings. At the end of the book the author explains how she painted them with Watercolor. I would love to paint as well as she has. Afternoon Loverlies! I decided to get some 8x10 canvases so I could make some little paintings as my bathroom Decor. I have a thing lately where I love decorating with Birds, and  a mint blue color. My curtains have a big tree and some cute blue birds on it. I purchased the curtain a good while ago from Walmart. I used to like red in every room, but i'm slowly venturing away from it being in every room. My shower curtain was inspiration for the paintings, because I just wanted to draw some birds on a tree limb to match the curtains. Afternoon Loverlies! Those of y'all out there that read my blog. I'm sorry I have been posting not so much. I just have been trying to help my hubby with his schooling and we haven't had much time to get out. Hopefully when he is done we can get out and I can take some pictures. I miss doing my photography. Once my hubby is out of school, we are going to attempt this thing they call exercise again. We should have time to then. I just find it hard to do by myself. I have been better at getting energy to do more cleaning like I used to. It just is hard sometimes because I get a bit depressed and then I feel like what is the point. I just have to try my best to fight through it.

I am so happy it is finally getting cold! I love wearing sweaters and just being all cozy in them. I hope the cold weather is here to stay finally. Here in Arkansas we were still having 70s weather every few days. It is fall and it needs to be cold, OK WEATHER! lol We haven't turned on the heater just yet because I would hate to turn it on and then have more warm days. I need to get out another card to my Grandfather. I decided to make a little zentangle doodley art. I know it's a bit girly, but I am not the best at making manly drawings. I just hope he enjoys it. I used water colors to color it. I purchased some palettes for my watercolors, but they are taking forever to dry in the palettes. I guess it's the type of watercolors? I have no clue. As long as I can use them, then I guess it works. lol I purchased these palettes for about 4 dollars each at Walmart. Alrighty, enough of the talking and on to the pictures. Have a Blessed day!

Hey There Loverlies! I just wanted to share some art with y'all today! My friend (sissy) Missy drew a chibi drawing of me and mailed it to me around my birthday. I love this little drawing it's so cute! She even included my monster hat that I actually have in real life. I am ready for cold weather, because I do want to wear it in public. lol I do not care if folks think it is a bit, not my age, I am going to wear what makes me happy. Since Missy was so generous at sending me a drawing, I decided to draw her. I seriously cannot draw realistic people. My drawings come out looking like dolls, but that's okay. As I said in my last post LOVING ART, anything can be art, It just depends on the person viewing it. Because what I view as art someone else may view it as not being art. I also decided to put mine and missys' drawing in the Waterlogue app. I was curious what it would look like and I love it! This app is so beautiful! :) It is worth buying it for $2.99. Evening Loverlies! I started in September to attempt drawing again. In high school I tried drawing little cartoon characters all the time, and I missed it. So I have been trying to attempt drawing people again. Sadly they still turn out like cartoon characters though. I really was trying to draw realistic people, but I have failed in the realistic area. lol I just try to remind myself anything can be art, so that I do not get discouraged and It is just my style of drawing. I have also been following some cool Facebook art groups. I love seeing all the drawings and paintings in the groups, because they can be really inspirational at times. Evening Loverlies! Been kind of busy this week with appointments and such. Got some books from the library and I need to get on the ball and start reading them! I shall attempt a Nora Roberts book tomorrow. I have never read Nora Roberts before, I really hope I enjoy it. I've been doing some art lately called Zentangle. At least been attempting what I think Zentangle is, lol. Here is a LINK about what type of art Zentangle is. I love it to be honest! I even had a friend ask me to draw a manatee with my Zentangle art so he can consider using it as a tattoo. I will show y'all those drawings once I get it mailed to him, I don't want to ruin his surprise of what I have drawn. lol What I normally do is find silhouette's of animals or anything and just add Zentangles to them. I sometimes just come up with it or find Zentangle patterns online to help me. There are quite a few of Zentangle books at hastings I have noticed. Maybe soon I can plan on purchasing some of them. They also have some Manga art books that look fun to try and attempt! Anyways, I am gonna show you a few drawings I have done so far. They aren't the best picture quality, but I felt you can see them well enough. :) Have A Blessed Day!

Afternoon Loverlies!! I wanted to share this neat little app I found at the app store on my IPhone. It is called PaigeeWorld. It is basically a community of anime/manga type drawers. You basically make a profile and just go look at other folks drawings, or you can post your own drawings. It has Paigee points you earn by submitting drawings I believe. Or earning paigee pins by entering contests or connecting to facebook. I believe that's another way to unlock paigee points. When you earn these points, you can use them to unlock tutorials on how to draw certain characters etc. Very COOL!! I'm still learning the ropes of this app. lol But I think it is very interesting to at least try!!

I decided to try to draw some myself. Don't laugh. lol The first two pictures I just saw what someone drew and just tried to draw it myself. The last picture I just kinda did the same but mixed stuff. lOl Hey I gotta start somewhere. Maybe I will get the hang of it so I can get better at  drawing some more. Anyways, All I am saying is TRY IT!!! YAY!!! :D Ta Ta For Now!!!
